generally how many plants per 400, 600 and 1000 watt light?

they say a 1000watt will do a 6x6 area but I disagree. Id say a 4x4(hoods have alot to do with this my hood will only do a 4x4) so how ever many you wanna squeez in that area you can do. Now remember container dynamics will have so much to do with how big your plant or plants will get. You could buy a bag of potting soil, cut a small square in the bag and some drainage holes in the bottom, and plant your clone or seed. This will grow a massive bush. Or you can do an SOG and grow 100 little plants. All speculation and what the grower enjoys most.

technically its based on alot of opinion though. A 600 watt may be able to do a 6x6 but how much light are your outside branches really getting...... not much

I use a 400 watt MH/ HPS and I grew 3 plants on my last grow complete Bush style in a 3.5' x 4' area.

I got 3.5 ounces off my Indica (The Church) and I expect on 4 ounces from each of my sativas (not quite done yet).

If you are growing for personal use, a 400 watter is more than sufficient.
