Genetic disorder? Bad seed?

Bought some GDP auto seeds from blimburn, I have one in hydro that is doing great, and one in soil, I had wanted to do a side by side grow in the same space to compare growth rate, however, from the day it sprouted my soil plant has been wonky, like really wonky.
Looks like the leaves are growing in a tornado. Anyone ever seen this or know what causes it? Its just entered preflower but is much smaller than my hydro.

Ive attached pics of a couple stages of the soil plant, and one of the hydro (note the hydro has some uglyness on lower leaves from the beginning stages of root rot, as I had an aerator fail but caught it quickly)

Yes, I would say that is a genetic mutation. Seen quite a few, they're all different.

Any chance it could give me an extra potent yeild?

That looks like bitter beer face to me. They don't like what they are drinking/eating.

It's in fox farms ocean forest, and on plain phd water, no addiditves.
