Uhhhmm.. You want to take your seeds out of the cold water and either put them in a paper towel and fold once and place in aluminum foil and fold that once. OR. put them in soil.

Take two or three paper towels and fold them too roughly the size of a piece of bread. Place them in a Tupperware container or a similar type of container. Wet the paper towels with room temperature or slightly warmer water. Pour off any additional water. Place your beans between the folded wet paper towels and seal the container. Place the container in a warm dark or at least mostly dark location. Wait 12 to 24 hours and check for progress. If your beans have not popped by then wait another 12 to 24 hours and repeat until your beans pop or until you know for sure they will not pop.

Skip the bean swimming part in the future and just do the paper towel thing.

just place the cups on top of something warm so the water gets some heat. i bet your seeds will do just fine.

I doubt that the cold would hurt them, seedbanks keep seeds refridgerated so they remain viable longer.
Just warm them like the other posts say.:blsmoke:
