Germinating in Peat Pucks

I am about to do my first grow, and I would like to start the germination in a peat pill/puck. What is a good way to do this? Just to soak the puck, and place the seed in?

Yeah soak it for 24 hours IN PH'd WATER. keep them a little warm to 80 85 ish. You should be good to go from there. Oh if your gona use a Humidity dome remember to remove it as soon as they pop. Good luck.

I germed mine first till the taproot showed then i put them in peat pucks with alittle peroxide and superthive.

I soak for 24 hrs in water, never let the tap root show and plant. I also keep a 6500k 26w cfl on them 18/6 with a heating pad on low under the tray.
