Germinating issues

so I germinated my autoflower seeds in the papertowel and ziplock and they all sprouted a little white root so I put them in soil root down. I read to use a spray bottle to water and not let the soil dry out. My soil seems to be drying out every couple hours though. Im worried it won't make it through the morning with water from sprayer with a spray bottle.

if your that worried, put the pot into a deepish tray and put water in the tray and let them soak the water up for a few hours, then take them out and do as mentioned above. they should maintain a perfect moisture level

You can also weigh a pot of dirt right when it comes out of the bag. Say your solo cup weighs 100 grams when filled with fresh dirt. Wait until it is back down to 100-120 grams before watering again. As you move into larger pots (3, 5, 10 gallon) you can pretty much tell when they need water just by how heavy they feel. You can even keep a pot of dirt (no plant in it) so you can compare how heavy they feel.

Also if you're using coco as ur growing medium it will dry out much faster than other mediums. I use a mixture of 1/3 perlite, 1/3 coco, 1/3 pete moss. For germinating I soak seeds in distilled/filtered water ph ballanced at 6.3 with a single drop of 3% hydrogen peroxide for 36 to 48 hrs for the most, at this point if I do not see signs of tap root I do the wet paper towel and zip lock bag technique. I use a cut plastic bottle with a few little holes to act as a dome over the area where the seed is planted to maintain better humidity and moisture levels. Works for me.
