Germinating old seeds

Most of my seed stock is over 5 years old, with a sizeable portion 20+. And they all germ fine, at least 75%. Even the ones loose and forgotten about for a decade in my trucks tool box, that's in the tx heat too

What is your method for germinating the older ones? Like every single detail??

soaking for 132 hrs and then in the middle of a moist paper towel in between a scooby doo plate and a power ranger plate inside a ziplock freezer bag with a x on one side and an o on the other made with a blue sharpie and then placed on top of the flux capacitor tucked behind the warp drive but infront of the particle accelerator but behind the traction beam and not within 100 yards of a microwave will work every time, really old seeds may need to have the chronicles of narnia playing during the soak, but just the audio as the light will surely kill them

this is true I just popped a 10 year old seed with no problems straight to soil

No need to be a jerk about it, you said the fault was on me so I want to know your method seeing you have good success rate so I know what I'm doing wrong and can change it
