germinating sativa dominant strains

do the seeds take longer to pop?

I have never found much if any difference in the sprouting times of indica versus sativa seeds. The main influenceing factors of sprounting time are, freshness of seeds and proper environment for success, like temperature, humidity and presences of oxygen.

Doesn't really matter from what I have seen. It usually takes 2-3 days for my sprouts to break the surface regardless of what I am growing.

5 full days now for 4 Black Label Jack Herer seeds in wet paper towel and still nothing. starting to feel disappointed

i know many will disagree with me ,but i dont like the paper towel ,thing, if you forget or it dries out ,i just dont like it ,sorry folks' i just soak my seeds in a cup of water ,plant them in the medium ,in my case i have tried many all seem to work but at present on a coco coir tanget. soaked ten in rainwater ,with a touch of superthrive ,by accident but never the less i put them in coir the next day , all popped after a few days and looking good at about two weeks. but many on hear use that method and have good results ,so who knows ??
