i think most use the paper towel technique. I do but also instead of just water i add a drop of super thrive to the water.. not sure if it makes any difference, currently have 5 white skunk seeds in - after 24 hours first one cracked, then day 4 (today)another is starting to crack but no signs of the other 3 so far. they went in on the night of 26th.

But some have said the thrive helps germination.. not sure really if it does yet but have never got one to crack in 24 hours - more usual of about a week of being in the paper towel...

Im asking because i drop my seeds in water until they sink . Then I put them in soil but it's been almost 2 days and still nothing ..

Do you guys think its normal that the seeds get darker than before they sink?

Since i've seen no progress , I put them in a paper-towel in zipbag over my fluo fixtures for a little heat

Put them in a soaked paper towel.

Place on a plate and cover then put it somewhere dark and warm.

Usually does the trick.

I place the seeds on a paper towel in a ziplock bag anh i place that bag on my fluorescent fixture which is pretty warm .. guess what , one already popped so hope the other one pops soon

I place my seeds directly into pre soaked/pH'd rockwool and then into a humidity dome. I placed 4 OG Kush and 2 G13 Haze in on thursday night and all but one OG was out of the rockwool by this morning.

i use a cassarole like 4 inches wide x and 7 or 8 inches long. i put the greese catcher from a gorge foreman grill in there the i put a folded up hand towel soak it iwth purified drinking water open the first two folds and put the seeds in on top i trhe greese catcher. then i just stick in the closet for like 3 days later the seeds are cracked and the roots are about on a two inches long ready too go into dirt. that the best way i found every seeds i ever done has always poped never a wasted seed

From now on . My technic is : drop in water for a couple of hours , until it sinks. Then in paper towel .

My second seed just popped so happy

paper towel method all the way. i tried the cup of water tech. didnt work worth shit all the seeds in there died. but with the paper towel method ive gotton a 95% germ percent with good seeds.

I use the paper towel then peat moss. I get a Zip lock baggy and a paper towel. I mix a spray bottle with peroxide. One cap full to 20 oz of water then I put 4 drops of super thrive in there. I spray the towel till it is wet but not soaked. And I place in the bag. I then get a few heavy towels then I put the bag in between them. 2 days later The seeds are cracked and roots are out. I then use a tooth pick and make a hole in a peat pellet. That I hydrated with the same solution as before. I make the hole about 5mm below the surface and lightly cover my seeds. I wait 24 hours spraying surface once every 12 hours. The seeds are sprouting in 2 days or so. I then put them in the ground or aero setup. Hope this helps. Later good luck
