Germinating white widow

During the first 24 hrs of germination temp in room reached low 90's, maybe even warmer, then dropped in the low 60's in the evening. Will the high / low temps or the change in temps kill my seeds? There is no change in my seeds, they have been germinating for 48 hrs.

you should try n keep them in a dark place like a cup over the little glass you used to germinate them in.with temps in the 75-82 degrees, best to try n keep the same temp on them. Could have messed them up but not sure. If water gets below room temp the seeds may never germinate.

Next time find a dark or hardly lit place and get some soilless mix and fill the cups with soil, water and let that drain well before you put the seeds in,then put the cups on a heating pad that stays on all the time( Low works well). Always have success with this method(less chance for damage or disease on the seeds with messing with them all the time)

good luck

No. I have 3 seeds in a tupperware, covered with damp paper towels in my night stand, where it is dark. I am using RO water. My room usually stays about 70, yesterday it was sunny which heated the room, then it got down to the low 60's last night. I have now closed all blinds, tupperware is wrapped in a towel on a heating pad with a thermometer to watch the heat. Starting day 3, no change. Have I ruined the seeds?

The cold promotes the feminizing of the as opposed to heat which makes males or if you bought the seed of line maybe they will herm. so maybe try getting them wet with 5.9 ph water and let them dry out in a cool moist area. once they dry that should bring oxygen to the seed so it cracks open then you will deff have a female super plant.

hi .think i can help u.to germ seed i find easiest and 99% effective and fast . get ph neutral water in a glass ,drop in seeds , check every couple hours and tap them if they sink remove and place between to damp cloths or loo roll in a dark place til seed cracks. which usually happens within 24hr when you submerge the seeds .plant root down just covered as soon as root appears from seed .easy peasy . to keep humidty up for seedling cover pot and seedling in cling film or cut open juice bottle and use as mini green house this keeps humidty up in 90,s.

sorry never even answered your question . they will germinate like that just takes seed a while to soak up enough moisture to grow.i dont find temps cause a problem when germinating within reason .

lol who told you that?? Its not true.. Its in the genetics.. If what you said was true then my feminized seeds would actually be males if I expose the seeds to heat lol wow.
