Germinating your seeds

Ok they cracked after 48 hrs, i planted them about .5 inch in soil.

How long till they break the ground and sprout up usually??
3-7 days, but if you dig around a little on top to see them first then they will never sprout. Trust me on this NEVER DIG AROUND TO SEE IF ITS MOVING UP YET. if 7 days pass and nothing then start with a new seed, digging around for the seed is only something you do if you are throwing that seed away regardless.

for the first week you only really need to water about once, i personally just mist them 3 or 4 times a day for the first week with maybe a spot of water about halfway thru the week. most of ur misting moisture will penetrate the soil and that should be enuff for u seedlins.

I've been watering daily with only enough drop accross where the seed is (after soaking it before putting in the seed). I don't pour direct so as not to push down the seed at all, but I was under the impression during the seed-seedling stage you would want to water less water more often, and in flower water more water less often.
