Germination concerns

Hi,

Not my first rodeo but this seems like a noob thing so figured I'd ask. I do the paper towel method and usually everything is germinated by 24-72 hours.
-my set up is a tupperwear container sealed with wet papertowel inside. the container is warm and in the dark.

MY Question: It's been 6 days since initiating the germination and 1/3 of my seeds are still struggling to germinate. You see these little stub roots coming out of the seeds but no long tails yet. It seems like they are having trouble growing a long root. Maybe it's the seeds but out of 150 there are still about 100 that are slow as shit. the first 50 were germinated within 36-48 hours.

So should I keep waiting? 70 seem to have little nub tails but are super slow, the shell has cracked a bit and you can see the root starting but geeez slow. some have been like that for a couple days. I'm thinking it's the batch of seeds or something because I've never experienced this. about 30 haven't even cracked yet...... sucks

what do you guys think?

One reply in four months to this basic question?....If I waited until a full rootlet or whatever it is called to show at least 1/8 inch I would never get anywhere with certain C99 and other Jack Herer related strains. Just seems that until they get a taste of that dirt they will only do so much. I even had the full husk come off and placed the embryo in some finely ground Fox Farm Ocean mix and it did OK
