Germination issues...

Hiya
Seeds cracked maybe 4 days ago in paper towels with tap root sticking out as usual, but since then hardly any growth at all, if any. I want the tap root to grow a little longer than usual because ive had a lot of seeds die on me when i put them into rapid rooters so im trying a different method.
After 4 days the tap root should be longer than just poking out of the shell...?

Next time just plant right into the dirt. Just sowed 10 and 9 are showing 3 days later.

Same advice. I don't germinate in paper towel anymore. It's straight into a solo cup no days with nearly 100% success rate as long as there good not to old of seeds. Now if I was trying to get some 10 year old seeds going I'd use paper towel.

I was putting them on my pc which gets slightly warm. I dunno. Maybe cos the pc is sometimes on sometimes off the change in temps is the problem...?
