Germination Problems, I need real Help!

There is no frigging paper towel in nature. In my opinion that is BS advice. What I do is put the seeds in some water overnight, putting a lid on the cup so there is no light. By the next day the seeds have sunk to the bottom and are properly hydrated. Now I put them in soil and water the soil pretty good. Next I wait. Keep in mind that the tap root is never supposed to see the light of day. It isn't meant to be handled by human beings. If I had a dollar for every time someone said they did the paper towel method but accidentally let it dry out, I would have a nice chunk of change. When I put them in soil, I have some CFL lights about six inches above the soil. This seems to give them just enough heat. Once they pop out of the soil, don't mess with them. Cannabis seeds have been germinating themselves for thousands and thousands of years with no help from human beings.

Hey whatever works for ya.....i will keep doing what works for me...i always get 90-100% germination ...Except when i tried BCBD seeds....they didn't work, and the ones they sent me again didn't work.
DRGT...4 orders very close to 100%
Big Buddah...2 orders ...... 10 out of eleven
joey's weed...100%

And as 0867mike777 said .."There is no frigging paper towel in nature.".What does that mean???............There are no advanced nutes....no sun every day for 18hrs either in nature........

Results talk and BS walks..

If your seeds are good you could probably spit on them and they would root........it a friggin weed.......just sayin

Now keeping them healthy and growing nice.......now that is more of a challenge, than cracking seeds

Get the rapid rooters. those work realy well. Get them wet, then drain all the water out, till its just moist, then plant your seed and don't water again until it turns light brown. It sounds like too much water is making the roots damp off. the seed needs oxygen too or else it will get soft and soggy. Common mistake with the paper towel method. you need to stop adding so much water all the time. just a little bit and only when they need it. good luck

Ive never had a problem germinating good seeds. That being siad , I have had a problem germinating bad seeds. The problem your refering to is from a combination of the seeds being too old and not stored properly, so there already damaged in the embreyo stage , it`s not your falt, start questioning the bank the seeds came from, some of them sell stock over six years old and stored incorrectly for long term shelf life
i dont really know if that is the issue, i have a couple of older friends who had like seeds that were over 5 years old and still germed no problem. if youre ordering from any of the big reputable banks (we know who the big ones are) then they have plenty of turnaround on their seeds. if youre ordering from joe schmo in the backalley around the corner type seedbanks, you know the ones that just randomly pop up online and youre like the first dude ordering, then maybe you will have a problem.
i would try putting them in a cup of warm water in a dark place, if the seeds sink after 24 hours they are good to go. seeds that dont germ after 3 day probably arent going to germ. also dont keep the seedlings in too hot a place, and dont bury them too deeply.

well there was something wrong with what your were doing if you wasted 15 seeds....
I think I was being way too impatient and wanted roots too pop in a day or two. I realsized patience is key too germination, I should of known but learning is key! !
