Having a white colour in the seed isn't bad, it just mean that the seed isn't fully matured. You want your seed to be dark in colour with tiger stripes(in a perfect world)
Germinating can take up to week sometimes. I just germinated about 20 seeds and within 24 hours 5 of the popped. 3 days later and the rest are starting to come out now. This is using the paper towel method. The atmosphere has to be warm for the seeds to germinate quickly. What I do is put paper towel in a styro plate, soak it with warm water, put the seeds in their marked areas, put another piece of paper towel over that, then I add some more water, drain out the excess water then I put another styro plate on top of that. The purpose is to keep it dark and the moisture inside. I then put it on the back of my computer monitor to keep it warm. Check it once or twice a day, then move to dirt once you have at least 3/4" protruding or you can let it germinate until the whole seedling has come out of the seed.
