Germination - Soaking Method Question

So I'm working with some year old seeds I've had in an old film canister. I finally have a grow room set up and put some seeds in a shot glass and set them on top of my modem (it stays pretty warm).

Well they've been in there for about 36 hours and they've all sunk but none of em have cracked. Should I wait till they crack or just plant them now?

All help is appreciated.

Ya should have planted them after 24 hrs.

Plant them now.

Ya soak them for 24 hrs and then ya plant them no matter what they look like. They are up in 2 or 3 days.

NO NO NO. Take them out and put them in-between a wet paper-towel folded up. Put the towel on a plate and put them somewhere dark. Wait until you see the first root and then plant

ha...you tried the method without knowing what you're suppose to do...ha, you're crazy

i like the papertowel method...i don't understand how some people can't do it

I just soak them and plant them. That works for me.

Ya have to do what works best for ya. Both work great.
