I think the room they were in was too dry and perhaps too hot. I'm honestly not sure how it happened. They all popped except for one, but they didn't grow a long taproot, they stopped growing after popping.

It also could be because I checked on them under a pretty powerful grow light and wasn't thinking about that when I did it (couldn't see them clearly through the napkin). YLYL
