There can be quite a few days between seeds germinating. Longest I've seen was 8 days between 2 seeds.does it may take a little longer for the other one to break the shell?or it may not germinate?
.so i soaked my seeds in water for like 20 hours or so then folded them in a paper towel in a dark place i see the tap root breaking only at 1, does it may take a little longer for the other one to break the shell?or it may not germinate?
the seed is in the paper towel between 2 plates and is pretty warm in my room, we'll see.
Are you using a heat source? I use a mat that heats the seed package to 85F and I get sprouts in 2-3 days. No soaking of the seeds.
Is your paper towel wet? Put the wet paper towel in a zip lock bag so your package doesn't dry out.
.
So you ignored the advice to plant in medium ?the seed is in the paper towel between 2 plates and is pretty warm in my room, we'll see
i already did this tomorrow i will plant them directly in the mediumSo you ignored the advice to plant in medium ?
It's fine, there's a ton of ways to get seeds to pop it's just that by using the paper towel you're adding steps to the process that require you to handle the seed and root at it's absolute most vulnerable state. It's just not necessary and you can damage the fine root hairs that form on the main root on the seed. It's slower but way easier to just properly moisten some soil or coco and plant the seed directly. Using a seed warming mat with a thermostat is a good idea too as they get going a lot quicker in a warmer than room temperature environment. Hope this helps and good luck.i already did this tomorrow i will plant them directly in the medium

thank u!A seedling heat mat won’t leave you wondering. Root Riot cubes over the mat. I get germination starting within 24 hours. Meaning vegetation showing out of the cubes.
