Is sunlight bad for a seed whilst its germinating, or doesnt it have any effect? (the seed is planted in a small pot so its about 1/2 an inch under soil?

Someone please help? :/ thanks.

not a good idea unless you seal them in plastic of some sort. the heat from the sun would be good, but it's going to dry the surface of your medium up in no time and when that happens = seedling death. so either mist them with water like every 10 minutes or wrap them up in plastic shopping bags or something so they stay moist and humid.

I put them outside even during germination and they do just fine ! Just make sure the soil does not dry out ..
Best advice, keep them inside next to a window and once they pop out, get them outside :) ! cheers

Thanks for the reply, ive had them covered over to lock in moisture and after coming back home the soil is still moist and warm which should be perfect for them right?

Thanks again for the help?
