Germination?

Hey guys,

I'm having problems germinating my seeds. I used the paper towel method & we are into day 5 - only one has sprouted so far and that was 2 dayas ago.

I put them in a zip lock at first and left them in a drawer for 2 days. Then I took em out, remoistened, covered with plates & put them over a heating pad. I still have nothing.

Can I just put them in a glass of water now or something? Or is it too late for that?

Really annoying cause these ww seeds costed me like $160.00

Paper towel needs to stay slightly warm constantly, I personally find that folding them up in papertowel and placing them in my heated propagator works everytime and they pop in 24-36 hours max.

Maybe the towel is not damp enough? I had seeds in a ziplock bag for 3 days with nothing. Took out the paper towel made it damper (much) and within 24 hours I had them sprouting.

well well, I'm thinking maybe it<sdue to the water's ph level, it was 7.5

I got it down to 5.5, could that have been the problem?

Yeah the paper towels were like dry enough for no water to be on the bottom of the plate.
