Getawaymountain outdoor crop 2013

So are you getting started in Cali isn't it going to be kinda hard to just hope in the season and move over here too?

that's a awesome move thou and is probley a dream come true good luck up there

no we have been working with people from there for a couple years and they did a great job with the growing last season so its not a shot in the dark by any means . we have been also developing the seaweed extract formula with them for a couple years also so its part of the bigger picture lol... mommas been busy with another table full for some freinds that run out of room for what they want to grow.. plants everywhere i go hahaha036.jpg034.jpg015.jpg

That's cool man so the journal will continue in Cali? Are you doing a lot more then last year or just alot of back up plan plants.
i just read threw last seasons journal man that was some gooood stuff you did real well even though you got a little late start. your kind of early this season so your probley expecting to do a lot better too.

we are going to do a bunch, after last year being late we did alittle extra so not to be late this season and alot of the planning hinged on the prodution of the extract to be made in ca and marketed there . the thread will continue no matter where we are lol...

002.jpg001.jpg004.jpg007.jpg008.jpg009.jpgwell the tables are full again !! new beans are working great so far and have a real high germination rate, our freinds will be happy when we move out ca. and if for some reason we have to wait till fall we have the summer crop going right on time for here.they will all pre sex out by end of may and only females go out lol...the mother plants we threw in the 12/12 room are doing good for just flouresent lights . the money maker strain has smaller tight nugs outside (golf ball size)and is a breeze to trim and doesn't mold at all here in coastal maine and is finished by sept 20 +/- with a great yeild

i have followed this thread the whole way and i apologize if i missed it.......any reason you grow from seed and don't clone?

Do you have any more pictures of the money maker closer to finish or is that how big the buds are?

010.jpg011.jpg013.jpghere's the finished buds from money maker. it has a medium size bud which i think is why it doesn't mold and its a solid bud also ,very lemony flavored !! and stoney as hell lol...

well being a breeder of mold resistant strains i have to grow out alot of plants to get the special phenos i want to use and with clones it isn't possible to do it the way i want .

is that one of the strains your breeding? whats the lineage?
\

the mother is brains choice crossed with seawarp ( the lemony pheno ) and brains choice is lemoney also .i took the branchy phenos from both and kept selectivly picking parents for certain traits until stable and concistant

ya lt's nice not to be worring about mold issues or an early frost in mid sept this strain finishes around sept 20 nice big branchy plant with a shitload of bud sites and pretty much open plant ,not alot of leaves to fuck with .

View attachment 2637810 here's the analisys for the last batch of seaweed extract we made
that's some great extract u make there bro! has all the good stuff the plants crave! when u need ur product tested, ill make a plot 100% jus for ur extract! me, I like to use different varieties each yr to see what works best for what situation. max sea and the fox farm lines seems to be mostly ideal in any conditions. but iv noticed when I lived in Humboldt we would throw a fish carcass and piece of seaweed in the bottom of our holes and the plants would be mosters by harvest. out of curiousity, does the salt water make the nutrients "harder" or does that get filtered out or something?
