Getawaymountain outdoor crop 2013

003.jpg004.jpg007.jpg008.jpg013.jpgthe hillside is getting along in budding now also the leaves are getting yellow on the earlier strains as they finish up and the buds are smelling oh so sweet and skunky . some strains can be cut now but i'm leaving them right to the last minute

020.jpg021.jpghere;s the air bubbler for the pool for making the seaweed extract, plenty of air is crucial to getting it to come out right the air blower is a 1 hp 110 volt spa blower cost 150 dollars and a 10 ft long x 5 ft wide pvc 1inch tubing with holes drilled in it. should put out plenty of air for the project

How long do you brew it for?

24 hrs a day for 30 days then take the seaweed out what hasn't dissolved and then airate for another 2 weeks to get the second fermentation gases out so it is real stable for bottling and will look just as dark as oil and smell like seaweed not a rank smell like during fermentation period .

that is the money maker strain ( brains choice x seawarp ) x blue sea ( blueberry x white widow x seawarp ) the seawarp strain has a big influence on it and we got some of them all ready to be chopped this week end

Heres some pics of two of your genetics, not sure which is which but I'm thinking the first is stumbleweed and the second is swamp skunk.

Thanks for the info. Really hope to make it up your way to say hi after harvest. Have you looked at using the west coast kelp instead of trucking it all the way back from the east? lol

the type we use from maine is considered the best for nutes and is the type used the most around the world (ascophyllum nodosum) and the tree huggers in ca would have a fit if i went and just harvested tons and tons of it also. but ya i looked into it and i have a lifetime supply in maine without any hassles so when i get 15000 gallons each trip its worth it $$ wise lol...

The are beautiful! I have a feeling you'll be very busy in the weeks to come. Let's see.....that makes 95 plants to go if I count correctly.

beautiful. I just pulled the main cola off my cheese, the rest tomorrow or next.

So....do you spend as much time manicuring all your buds as you have this one...or did you have time to kill and the rest are going to the leaf-trimmer?
