Growing in a swamp is the way to go when yur doin it guerilla style. Down here in the south the swamps are huge and dangerous to venture into unless you are experienced outdoorsman, so the only people who go into the swamps are growers and coonhunters who hunt at night so u really don't have to worry about much except for stepping into a mud hole with no bottom!

dam dude I wouldn't leave it like that to long this time of year.thats gotta be sticking out from the air.i have flown over my plots before.those tall stumps draw your eye right to it.be safe:bigjoint:

Thanks for the heads up! That spot is actually really small. Maybe like 50 square feet Max. Pretty deep in my woods too. And my county decided not to do fly overs in a few towns (mine included) because they weren't finding enough to justify the cost.

I'll probably go out and cover the stumps with brush. Make it look like a bush. I still gotta go out and clean the rest of downed trees out too. Took em all down with machete because i hadnt planned on finding somerhing i wanted to use haha. Havent decided whether or not ill take the saw out there yet..leaning towards no though. Things ttoo damn loud haha.

u in north east?in pic stumps look 3=4 ft tall maybe not that tall looks a lot bigger than50sq.may be 50 by 50 . I thought u a maina, get those tree's layed down on ground.hope they don't bloom grow out any leaves.then turn brown another dead give away. I stopped cutting tree's long time ago.once u get birds eye view of plots u learn what not to do:bigjoint:

Been there, and done that lol. All the while carrying two or three plants :(.

And ya I'm hoping they don't leaf out as well. But after being limbed I doubt they will, all the branches are still crispy hard anyway. And in the there's all kinds of bushes/small trees that keep their leaves longer than my plants are out so I'm thinking it will be pretty solid.

I'm aboard for the ride. I'll be doing a swamp grow myself this summer. I'm trying to teach a buddy to grow. and swamp land was all he could come up with. This will be my first time growing in a real swamp. But last week we had a flood, and 3 of my six hole patches were underwater. I know all my time release plant food has released, so I will have to add more before I put the plants in.

limbing em up will take care of any thing growing.iam just trying to give u heads up from what I learned the hard way.:bigjoint:

I'm going to be growing in a swamp this year. Going to make some swamp tubes.

I will also be strapping buckets to trees out on the water. I will also try some in floating rings. Aquaponics.

I like it. I'm subbed.

And a little folding pruning saw is the bee's knees. I love mine. I will cut some trees off at chest high to help with side cover, but right at the ground is the easiest to conceal. Just pull the downed trees and limbs 20-25 yards away and under some green brush. Cover the stump with dirt and leaves.

Are you talking towns/county's in Maine that don't fly?

I would probably just leave all the shit you cut down there and plant in the middle of the mess. But yup try and leave everything untouched would be my first choice if you can get sun, no sun, no grow lol. Also I tend to spread things out a bit with plants quite far apart. Back in the beginning when I first started I would plant a big square garden like a corn field lol. I actually used string lines for the rows lol. First grow I did was at 15 and did 50-60 Mexican bag seeds that never did finish, would have taken till January lol.

put mud on top of the stumps for they shin from the air.I always just ring the trees so they dye and will not feaf out and wait 2 years befor planting..TRUST ME it is beater to never cut trees they look for that from the air..stay safe and happy growing...ky

Happy 420 to you too! I'm celebrating right now with a big fat haze joint. If yur up for the task u can try a little trick my partner and I use, we don't cut down any trees completely, we take treeclimbers and strategically cut limbs that are blocking direct sun and leave the ones that don't get in the path of the sun. If u have to take a tree down try using medium or dark green spray paint and spray the tops of stumps so they are less conspicuous from the air.
