Getting aerogarden!!! Any tips please!!!

hey everyone, so i ordered the aerogarden pro 200. I've heard everyones getting the deluxe but i thought the pro 200 was newer does it have the 24 hour lighting option? anyway, so I have hindu kush seeds which i will put in the aerogarden. I've been hearing that one should use the aerogarden for clones and keep the mother plant under cfl's for 18/6 what do you guys think i should do. Help me plan out.

The only advice I can give you is don't buy it. I thought of getting one too but after reading a lot of the posts on here I decided it wasn't right for me.

Go read the posts in the Aerogarden sticky and see what people say. Basically the light is WAY too weak and the nutrients aren't right for weed.

If you scrap the AG nutes, buy an aerator ($15), and add a few cfl's around the outside of the AG it actually works very well.

You've grown using one? I'd love to hear about your experiences with it if you have.

One thing I've read about hydro is you have to keep up the ph and nutes in the fluid and the larger reservoir you have the easier it is. Since the AG has such a small one I'm wondering how hard it is or if it really is easy because of the monitoring system it has built in.

I don't know anything apart from what I've read. That was enough to make me avoid it so I would love to hear some personal experiences to the contrary.
