Getting setup for a new grow, 5g Hempy w/ Third Dimension & Wappa

I am still undecided on if I will transplant the smaller contained hempys (only 4 of them, excluding the AK47 clones) into 5G buckets or just let this grow go in the 1.25G buckets and half go in the 5G buckets. I don't have enough buckets or anything and make a trip to the home improvement store daily, getting old haha. Do you think I can have nice yields with the Hempys in the small buckets or should they all go 5G before I flip? I might flip as early as Monday (2 days) but more than likely mid-late next week when I have everything else in here better fixed up and figure out how to run my 3rd light (since I can't find a space for my breaker, Damn!) These plants are all averaging around 12-14" and some as tall as 17" (the sativa looking ones which are (apparently) indica) I think my clones were just mislabeled because it makes no sense to think those are Indicas.

I just had an amazing revelation... I have a double pole breaker location and have had it the whole time I have lived here, the Underground Sprinkling is the one thing I know I can disconnect and never even know it's gone considering I haven't used it once for the several years I have lived here and it's even missing some heads from kids beating up on it so that's perfect. I am going to see if my power company will shut off my power for a 'period of time' I am going to request 30 minutes if possible then wire/swap the breakers out and wait until it comes back on. Problem is, no cell phone to communicate with if need be with the power out.

Wonder if they will do that if I tell them I am just trying to swap a breaker, I know it can be done on a live panel but I am not the one who wants to be 'that guy' who got burnt to a crisp and teaches a lesson to others.

I'm not sure where you live, but it the states, if your box is to code it's real easy to swap and connect breakers while live. Do you have one large breaker/switch at the top of your panel? Got a pic of panel?

I just posted a pic of the location I want to put it in, did not get any zoomed out pics... it's pretty messy in there to be honest, completely full and it's older in design since the house is pretty old but the only thing that really concerns me is the location I want to install my breaker is the top spot right near the main lines and any wrong slip I might touch something I don't want to. I always figured it was OK as well because it's basically just clipping in while turned off, wiring is done a good distance from the panel before too so it's not like my screwdriver is going to slip (maybe doing the ground though) but I am still not ready for this leap unless I can find a handy friend who might be willing to do it.

My panel does not have a main breaker that can be shut off, only the individual ones.

Yea it looks pretty cluttered. Sound like you know how to do it. But don't do anything you don't feel comfortable doing.

Well folks, I got the CAP Light Controller all wired up to my new 30-Amp, finally picked my balls up off the floor after saturating my mind with as much related knowledge as possible over the past couple days and pulled it off rather effortlessly and without any type of incident. I have it triggered by the 120v cable right now and letting the relay run w/ power by itself (nothing attached to it) gonna do that for a good short while and then start by attaching one ballast at a time first of all I want to make sure my ballasts automatically operate in 240v mode (they should) and I don't fry all 3 at once if something doesn't work right.

I should be all set to go when 12/12 comes (any damn time now, I have a feeling I am going to have to add a whole top section of screen after the stretch to the vert...

DAY 21 - STRESS TESTIN' -- Both my electrical work and my rooms ability to stay within adequate temps. I swear I read somewhere people claiming metal halide to generate more heat so when I flower I will only have 1 of those opposed to two and hopefully will level playing field some. I don't think my little A/C is gonna handle all this but I am hoping I will go check again in about 20 minutes if my temps are high 70s low 80s (81-82 tops) at canopy I will call it success.

I might let that HPS go until 12/12 kind of as a weening it into it's new sunlight... also was considering having my MH (during 12/12) cycle on about 2 hours after the HPS' come on and then shut off a few hours before they do as well (simulating the sun higher in the sky during the middle of the photoperiod) I figure if I can mimic nature in any easy ways might as well see what happens.

I may just run all 3 all 12 hours though but if it will help with heat or natural simulation that would be interesting to try I think.

It's funny how high that horizontal MH looks from my canopy... it's not, very odd angle I guess... I can nearly burn my scalp off if I accidentally move too much while checking out the plant.

81 degrees consistent at the canopy of the vertical grow... I think that's good and I have had all 3 burning @ 100% for over an hour now at least, wondering if it will drop or increase when it's 2 HPS 1 MH though. I don't even have an exhaust fan hooked up yet either going to hook that up w/ my carbon filter tonight or tomorrow and get the rest of this squared away so I can flip whenever I want...

Any suggestions on when to flip?

I lied it peaked around 90 at one point, got just 2 lights going again and back to 82 w/ AC off... I am wondering if it may be freezing up and not working efficiently because I would imagine it would at least feel a bit colder right at the vents... I had that issue with a smaller unit once before it could just be working itself to inefficiency if it's like the old one. It's only 6000BTU I was hoping it would just keep temps around 79 optimistically not be 'amazing' but I guess I may need to get another one of trade up to a larger unit... I can probably still return this and exchange even.

Well... Whoops... I dropped my camera, luckily it was just some 11mp Sony Point & Shoot (nothing special, hell I found it) and not one of my good cameras (it is the one I have been using in this journal though) now all I have left are my sports camera and my high end video camera so this sucks for updates. I may try and create some kind of anonymous video hosting account and maybe just post short videos from now on... it's a good excuse to make use of my pretty awesome camera.. sucks for stills though I don't like taking stills with either of my remaining cameras.

Maybe I'll post a video soon... I have yet to take one or even make a YouTube account though.
