I took these tonight. The frost just keeps getting thicker. I see no sign of amber so I figure SAt will be good. Just thought I'd throw out some random bud porn.

It's a funny story. A friend that worked at or with a seed bank gave me a container of these, it was labeled Panama Red, I don't think they are the PR. So to answer your question..I'm not sure. What is it that gave the Panama REd the name? The seeds he gave me were all seperated in vials and well marked. I got 5 or 6 new strains still to go. I can hardly keep from cutting it..

Im guessing what gave panama red its name was because it was covered in red hairs? just a guess

you know the drill, take a little bit of buds from the bottom and smoke it.

From the looks of things you still have a couple weeks to go.
Let those calyx's swell up and keep checking your trich's until you see some milky/amber heads.

That's what I thought but I also read about reddish leaves. If it's the hairs, it will definatley be red.. But let's see, GDP, Black AFrican, Diesel Mix, Jack Frost, Blue Dragon, Chocolope and Skywalker. Then there is a small unlabled container that has a few that he said were autos. about 12 or so. Yeah, it was a neat little stash. About a 75 to a 100 total.

Yeah, he's a pretty cool kid. Has about 200 seeds to this particular plant. I might try and work a deal for them. I have really enjoyed growing it. I had caculated my finish for the 14th Feb BTW.. good call.

I gave him a few Oz of silver in the trade. I supply his meds, he has seizures. One of those deals. He Makes custom sterling jewelry, He's built a few projects for me. Oh Yeah, I know its a few bux worth of seeds.

or people are dumb and just over pay for seeds. For those who know how many seeds come out of a single pollinated bud, i think would agree that seeds arent worth what they charge, even if they had weened down the genetics. and as many seeds as u get off a whole pollenated plant(as many breeders do) everyone should be giving away seeds. hell 50-100 bucks a 10 pack, 5-10 per seed! because people are sold on "good genetics". hell a good breeder would make more money pollenating, and selling the seeds than they would off the buds unpollenated. Makes me think about getting into breeding

I think seeds do get expensive..If I ever end up having to buy them I will definately be checking my source..too much opportunity to get screwed.
However there are some pretty cool things happening in the world of breeding. WEed plant is marvelous in that way, it can just be crossed to almost no end for whatever trait you desire.

Yeah this guy sooo reminds me of a pollen sac spewing..

This is a question I would like to toss out there,

Conditions: this plant..pictured, was grown in 3 gal soil, Happy Frog, with minor amendments, mostly MOlasses and fish emulsion with phed H2O. In its sixth week of flower I went in to check for my morning inspection and I found three pollen sacs Popped very far inside the plant and isolated to two branches on the lowest nodes of the plant. I promptly sprayed them and removed them.. the whole branch.. watching for more but have not seen any other evidence of pollen sacs, nanners, or the like.

Question: Can a Normal Female plant throw a pollen sac or two like this on its "new" growth and NOT be considered Hermaphrodite? Or does it need to affect the whole plant. It seems in this case to only have affected the very new stuff that might end up getting a couple extra weeks under the light.. Keep in mind this is all very tender newish under canopy growth. I have found no evidence of any nanners and sacs elsewhere on the plant. These COULD have been brought on by my environment too, cold, it gets low 60's at night every night. Thoughts?

Thanks man! I almost panicked and chopped it..It is quite heavenly in the morning, light and very sweet smell of good ganja. It is my best to date and I am very pleased, pollen or not.. It is still poppin new growth and adding frost so Im leaving .. I swear my side buds grew a half inch last night, The cola seems to have stopped or slowed to fatten up. It is almost thirteen inches on the plant and about 10" from it's light..a 400W HPS on a 5 ft track making a full pass every minute. I like my mover..

I have four of this plants babies two are about 5 weeks behind this one and the other two are still getting Fimmed and trained. I will add a few new photos to the journal tonight.

I hope to clear at least 2oz dry on this plant. This is smokin bud..I have four of my daily drivers coming through soon too, My sativa Shrubs I call them. Unknown bagseed from two years ago (1 seed) Has grown me at least a pound and a half over the last year via clone..It has served well and is perfect for my pain. Has very little fun high to it. The strain above is purely for pleasure.
