Getting the seeds ready for outdoor?

got all my shit together, now i just gotta figure out which is the best way to grow the seedlings. I know how to germinate them, but anytime from putting the germinated seeds in the starter soil up until putting it in the ground outside im not sure of. I know to buy some soil that doesnt have time releasing nutrients and etc, but how do i grow them? should i buy some kind of light for them? im not sure if i should grow the differently than other people would for indoor growing, so thats pretty much why im asking yall. thanks!

mk, so im definately going to have to buy a light? do i just put the seeds in a jiffy cup with soil and hang a light over em? how long should i keep the lights on a day?

Take your germinated seed, place it in your pot. I use 5 gallon pots until ready to go into ground. Put them in the sun, wait for them bad bitches to sprout.

if you can water them every day you should look into a soilless medium and just feed nutrients.. similar to outdoor hydro. 50% coco coir and 50% perlite

im using 50% fox farm ocean forest and 50% promix hp.. added some garden lime, epsom salts, and water crystals. I'm only going to be visiting my plants once a week or so.. 2x a week during the peak of summer heat

would i be able to buy the soilless medium at places like home depot or lowes? the hydroponics place is like... an hour and a half from where i am and ive already been there once this week lol ive got my outside soil mix ready, i just need to get everything for germinating/seedling growth.

At home depot look for the Sunshine "pro mix" or the "#4". It's what I'm using and have no reason to look for an alternative.

Up here it about $35 for a 107L bale.

promix is great because perlite and water crystals are already in it. If you can't find any then you can make a great base out of peat moss bales, perlite, vermiculite, worm castings and some compost or manure. My mix is very simple, I usually mix a bale of peat mos with a bag of promix I don't add extra perlite because I want water retention, then I add about 20% compost and 10% worm castings.

i know my home depot doesnt have promix, what is #4?
Sunshine mix #1 or #4 , just slightly different perilite an nute loads. Either would work fine. I'm using #1 this year, #4 last year. Sunshine seems pretty stable as far as ph and drains well. If all else fails look for MG soil just don't expect to feed for a while.
