70% works excellent, 91% even better... Contractor by trade and model RR hobbyist, I have tried everything under the sun for the last 20 years at removing resin...if 91 wont cut it, Lacquer thinner will....Even the alcohol wipes or bottle of antibacterial germitizer stuff works wonders...
Yep. I always use alcohol, works like a charm.

Rubbing alcohol on your hands and for cleaning tools, It also works great if you let glass pipes soak in it. They come out as clean as the day you bought them.

Also a great method, after rolling or trimming if you'd like if your hands are sticky you can just rub you fingers in your hair. It'll restore the oils and make your hair grow faster....

Rubbing alcohol and Kosher salt. put a little salt in, little alcohol, cover the holes and shake like mad.

If they are nasty, I scrape out the tar and toss it (who smokes that shit anyway, lol) and then I soak the glass piece in hot, hot water. Then I soak it in rubbing alcohol, then shake with the salt. Table salt works, kinda, but nothing like the heavier grained kosher.

I go to Safeway and buy their brand of hand cleaner/sanitizer in the huge plastic bottle. Comes with a nice big handle to push down, it's cheap, and you can clean any bong, pipe, etc with it. In the grow room, I just use plain rubbing alcohol and it works fantastic for cleaning up any resin messes. I've tried using latex gloves for harvest, but I don't like my hands covered with anything when I'm trimming or carefully handling my finished product.

This is definitely the best way to clean yourself up after being with the plants. Acetone is fucking harsh, so are alcohols. This is easy on your skin and works incredibly well. It's also cheap as shit.

GoJo hand cleaner cleans scissors, hands, and all other tools. It is a chemical solvent but washes off easy, i give my tools an alcohol bath afterwards. Dissolves resin instantly

I use the green spearmint rubbing alcohol because it not only cleans the sticky off my fingers quickly, but also eliminates the smell from the resin, replacing it with a mild spearmint scent. Give it a try.

I just use my coco oil/beeswax hand salve and rub it in like others said. for my tools, I use the alcohol pads but I clean them often during use. I never let the resin build up on my scissors much

Yeah oil works pretty good as does alcohol. I usually where gloves myself but when I don't or when I am just working in my garden and get extremely sticky my go to product is Sticky Bye Bye. It really does a great job all the way around being an oil/natural solvent base mixed with salt. It cleans you up great and keeps your skin soft. Honestly worth checking out

Can't remember how or where I found this idea years ago, might have been right here, so I won't claim that I discovered it. :eyesmoke: Just haven't heard anyone mention it lately.

Lots of people wear gloves, which is probably best if you have them. I ran into the problem once or twice of wanting to start harvesting, but had work or plans right afterwords, and no gloves. Usually it takes a while to get your fingers to smell and feel normal after harvesting, even if you wash and scrub them for a while.

So I started pouring a little vegetable oil on my hands. It can be olive oil, canola, whatever. Then I rub my fingers together with the oil for a minute, which starts to make the resin ball up and come right off your skin. Then use a lot of soap to wash the oil and crap off. Hands are not sticky and smell normal. Repeat if your fingers still stick together. Sometimes I need to do it twice to get it all.

Try it out if you don't have gloves around and want to harvest. I swear it works even though it sounds like some crazy shit. Been doing it for years. Somehow the oil binds with the resins and chemistry magic happens or something.... :joint::-o
I use a little mix of rubbing alcohol and soap, the gritty orange kind mechanics use works real good
