alright guys here is an update for today...I threw the two clones I got in soil a few days ago in the flower room already. I think I need to just flower these clones out of my life...lol...oh well. I should have some new connie seeds here by tuesday or wednesday to try again for a girl...once i get her i am gonna make some straight connie seeds. I also plan on taking two mothers for cloning. I would so much rather be perpetual with clones...anyhow...the connies I have right now have been getting foliar feedings for the last three days to try to keep em from yellowing any further till I can water em again with some nutes. as for the little scrog experiment it is going well...the girl just started shooting pistils of her nodes today...well noticeable to the eye pistils. I could only see minute ones with magnification for the last few days. the larger clones I have in flower are doin just fine. I wish I hadnt vegged the one for two weeks under the 600...you can really tell the difference huh. as for the veg room...no real update...everything looks the same and the clones are doin just fine as well...no real surprise.....just kind of a waiting day :mrgreen: i pulled everyone out to get some good pics as the lights were comin on and then got a shot of everyone packed in the flower room for you guys to see :blsmoke:

lookin good bro keep it up mate..my clones are still alive and looking good... oh yea i done anouther water one like you lol looks alot better than the last..

thx bro...glad to gear the clones are lookin good. the more I think about it...it seems that people who clone in soil have a faster turn around on their clones but seem to at the same time have a higher mortality rate...i think I will stick with water cloning :mrgreen:
 
hey they man! I just read through your journal Very nice work indeed. Your right C99 is a wicked strain! My brother has two flowering right now at day 39. He say he has to tie them up the buds are so heavy. He only has them under a 400watt, He used a super blue MH Conversion bulb for veg and a Max red HPS bulb to flower.

Back to your ?'s about nutes I use. I have been feeding them Kelp extract and B'cuzz growth stimulant. Look into the B'cuzz stimulant for flower and growth. they work great!! but expensive. 40 bucks a liter But I have to have it. THe bloom stimulant isso good adds lots of flavor and great for bud production

thanks for stoppin in bro....I am psyched about the new connie seeds I am gonna get this week. connies are c99xhashplantxortega and I here have colas the size of baseball bats. they are from subcool and the test grows turned out awesome indoors. I had a hell of a time getting the last batch to germ...I never have an issue with it but eh. I got two boys from just over ten seeds. next round...ding ding.

I just read up on the b'cuzz and it looks like a great product...i am gonna see what all I can find at the hydro store tomorrow. I am just not 100% happy with fox farms nutes right now. as far as kelp extract goes and the b'cuzz...whats your feeding schedule like with em on top of your other nutes?
 
I follow the lable. 1 tsp per gallon of b'cuzz stimulants along with the Pure blend pro. I am growing in Promix so I feed them almost every time I water. If the plants so show signs of over nute I will back off and give them plain water. But I never had a problem with burning, during veg they will take alot of nutes
 
Plants are looking nice and happy... Good running op'! U will find perpetual easier with clones than trying to run seeds. Its poss. But a bit harder more set up's needed! Im a clone perpetual i pull a pound off three monsters every eight wks. Db.~tlb! :)

Damn Db...that is a lot of weight...as you can see I have a bunch of clones right now from my buddies plant, but it's sativa and I really dont wanna have a flowering turn around of 3 months.....so I do plan on doing clones for perpetual...I just dont have the strain I want quite yet. The one thing I have noticed since I have started cloning is that my clones dont root at the same rate....do you have a method that fixes that issue....maybe a tip or a trick?:mrgreen:

I differ of opinnion. I think that the best way to do it is a combonation of seeds and clones, that way you have nothing but options and beautiful buds. There is more of a future in using both, clones lose genetic appeal each generation... seeds liven everything back up, and males provide more seeds... seeds have better momma plants for better clones.
 
great thread honkytown... I have three strains going now and your thread inspires me to get the fourth out of the fridge and start germinating. I love how fast my clones grow, but adding a new variety to the garden is always awesome.
 
well I have been really busy but here is an update...I made myself a little bubbleponics cloner as well...we will see how it works out for me:mrgreen:

I am amazed by that plant myself...i took a clipping from it and have it in the clone area right now to see if it is a girl...if so I am gonna take it as a mother for now...I love how fat the leaves are on it...can you see how they are so fat they are overlapping each other and causing the edges to shrivel a bit from no light....?....I am crossing my fingers for a girl!

I actually didnt take any clones from the connies...I only have two boys..so...but thats why I am letting them pollinate my other girls. as my flower room stands I have two different unknown strains in there that are female besides the connies. so I gotta make me some connie seeds. but yeah as far as the pollen goes....I meant to do that:mrgreen: I am gonna get some more connie seeds sometime this week...I thought they would be here by now but when I get them I am gonna make some pure conquistador seeds too.
