GH nutes how to use

medium-perlite in 10litre homemade dwc,4 litre nute solution and two plants.In smallish growbox with mylar.
Lights-cfl`s luman output around 12,000 also supplimenting few hours a day with 250w hps altogether about 26,000 lumans.
Fans-120mm intake and two 120mm exhausts.
Temps-inbetween 26 and 30 degrees celsius.
humidity- about 26.
water temp-inbetween 22 and 26.
Nutes-using proganics grow and root benificial bacteria.
lights on/off-20/4.
ph-inbetween 5.5 and 6.5.



I want to swap from proganics to GH nutes because of all the good thing have read about them.I have just purchased GH FLORA 3 X 1L PACK FLORA GRO, BLOOM & MICRO from ebay and also Hydroponics Wand Nutrient Meter -EC/PPM/CF Tester Meter from ebay.I have a few questions about swaping the nutrients and i need them all answered before i start using them.

Q1.When going from proganics to GH nutes shoul i start the nutes very low or should i continue with the same amount im using with the proganics?

Lucas formula sucks. The GH micro is not an additive. Its the first thing you mix before the other two. If you dont mix micro first the solution will not work. Depending on plants over all health is how decide what dosage, but guess start at 1/4 or half strength. Its a three part nutrient base very simple. Just follow directions. How are you using perlite in dwc?

I've only used RezDog's Recipe since growing DWC style.
Although this time, I switched the them as far as quantity given.
Instead of 6ml Flora Micro and 9ml Flora Bloom, I'm going 9ml Micro and 6ml Bloom for this veg period bcuz my current run consist of some good eaters and I want more Nitrogen, which helps to get more females too.
Anyways, here's Rez's Recipe from IC, as he wrote it :

6ml flora micro
9ml flora bloom

Use the above 1/2-strength on seedlings and clones to 10" tall,then feed full-strength>on.




Based on 63 day 12/12 Flower Cycle:

Day 1-14
6ml micro
9ml bloom

Day 15-21
6ml micro
9ml bloom
1 tsp./Gal. Kool-Bloom POWDER (ONE FEED,DAY 15!)

Day 22-28
6ml micro
9ml Bloom

Day 29-35
9ml Bloom
1 tsp./gal. Kool-Bloom POWDER (ONE FEED,DAY 29!)

Day 36-52
9 ml Bloom
(AND ON DAY 36,a 1 tsp./gal Kool-Bloom POWDER Slam!!)

Day 52-63 (Flush)
5.5-6.0 pH h20 at 50 ppm

I've seen yields increase about 15% (!!) with the above modifications.[/FONT]

Have to go with follow the instructions on the bottle and watch for nute burn as you work your way up. They will tell you if it too strong.

Why dont you use all three? You said you needed more nitrogen. Well, thats what the green stuff is for.

thanks for the recipie.when i change from the nutes im using now to the gh nutes do i have to start light or nutes just as strong as the one im on now?im not going to use the gh veg just micro and boom.why do you use the bloom in veg anyway?

Like I said that depends on your plants, environment, you, etc. More likely half strength. So why only use only two if you have all three. You would eventually run out of those two when you could spread it out w/ the three. Plus your plants will love it more if you use all three. So you can get your pk on. My plants grow so fast with GH schedule, of course Im not doing dwc...Whatever

I got my gh nutes in the mail now but wont use till i get my ppm meter.Ill start low and work up over time.Do you think i can use the proganics root formula with gh nutes?This is excellent for keeping my roots disease free and they are perfectly white.

I didnt buy the 3pack i just bought micro and bloom as funds are low atm.But may buy some veg in the future.My plants are growing approx 40mm every 10 days is that a growth growth speed or should it be faster?

Hi i use gh keep it simple reciculating schedule. In my 55 gallon drum i make the dosage for 24 gallons. Been doing it almost a year now and i really like 24 check out my pics and buy the rest of the keep it simple line. My ec never goes over 1.3 on aggressive bloom.
