it may look sweet but that is the last word i would use to describe this stuff.
the main smells are; stale sweat, pine tree sap and a little touch of vermouth, what i would call typical og/chem flavours. not the most pleasant on the nose but it is an acquired taste that becomes quite addictive. it leaves an oily coating on the mouth and throat that can stay for hours after smoking.

for a few days. The grow was pretty uneventful thanks to your info.
The enzymes did a nice job cleaning up the coir to.
The camera should be here the end of the week, I hope. It's has to come from
Denmark.

i dont use all of those products at the same time, they are simply things i have used over the last few years that i thought worked.
on this run, in this garden i am using 4 products from start to finish ( if you check the day 21 video below you can see exactly what the plants get fed on a week by week basis); canna coco A+B, atami bloombastic, canna boost and canna zym. i have done grows using only base nutrients and i feel that the quality and yield were terrible when compared to adding, say, £20 worth of "boosters".
while i'm not denying that for the raw material of what i am actually receiving is not what i am paying for, i still am happy to pay it for the convenience of knowing that it works consistently and i don't have to work hard to achieve results better than what you will find in most dispensaries. the day i feel my product is not up to scratch is the day i may change my mind on using all these manufactured noob solutions.
here they are on monday:
how many first time growers achieve 1 gram per watt on a grow with a 10 week turnaround? not many i bet.
first grow:
8x4 tent
drain to waste
sog 40 x 6.5l coco with 3in of hydroton on the bottom of the pot and on the top
strain (unknown cutting) "lemon"
veg 7 days from cutting 24/0 lighting 1200w hps
flower 63 days 12/12 1200w hps
1140g dry yield of top buds only, popcorn was not weighed.
the only thing that made this grow possible was the simplicity of having the bottled nutrients available, i could research for a decade on how to do an organic grow and i doubt i would be able to replicate this yield, quality and turnaround.
so criticism duly noted hank, but you just don't see the world through my eyes. it all makes perfect sense to me.

if you are mixing simple synthetic nutes with no added organics or enzymes you will get away with leaving it for weeks at a time. i regularly leave A+B mixed in a 220l barrel for weeks without emptying it, if i have ZYM in the mix i make sure to fully empty the barrel and rinse it out before adding anything else. bloombastic is a very sludgy liquid and i also clean my res weekly when i'm using that stuff.
if you have anything organic in the mix it will greatly reduce the shelf life of your mixed up nutrient solution and can lead to all kinds of nasties growing in the water and killing off all the oxygen that the plants love and need. adding an airstone will definately help but i have never used one. keeping it cool is the same thing to me, keeps more oxygen in the water and as zeddd will tell you, getting oxygen to the roots will result in greater harvests.
You can greatly increase your dissolved o2 levels by running a simple bubble line (no stone)
tap water under pressure is almost devoid of o2 however it is saturated with nitrogen
these are the small bubbles that form on the sides of containers when left to sit.
Water degases at it's interface with air in the top 1/100th of an inch of fluid, so a bubble
line creates a disturbance at the interface bringing more fluid up to pick up o2.
