Ghetto Grow Question + Canadian Weather

Hey guys,

I'm trying to make a grow box that's as low cost as possibly and I was wondering if anyone knows any cheap / free ways to make the inside of my grow box (L1' by W10" x H1'6") reflective? Also I was wondering I live in canada and winter is hitting like a b***h, its around -2degrees outside maybe about 15-23 degrees in my house. Will my marijuana plants survive? Also I have no hot places to germinate my seeds. Whats the best options.

My grow box has 3 CFL (23watt or 26watt) its 1700 lumens each bulb. Thats fine right?

My seeds:

1x Nirvana Northern Lights fem
1x Medicino Madnesss
2-8x Bag seeds

I was also thinking about making my own seeds so I was going to put 1 or 2 bag seeds (in small cups) and my Northern Lights in a bigger 8" pot or something

Also because I'm growing in my basement which is colder than upstairs I insulated the bottom of my grow tent with a 1" piece of insulation.

If you wanted somewhat cheap reflective material you can go to home depot and buy some reflective insulation material (which has the added benefit of having some insulating properties.

paint the box w/ flat white paint, it doesn't get any cheaper
as for a warm place to start seeds, got any electronic devices? a dvd player,old vcr? I do clones and seeds on an old sat dish reciever.

If you have an outdoor/sporting goods store nearby, those mylar emergency blankets work pretty well. I picked a pair up at a local walmart for less than 3$ each and each one is 4ft x 6ft I believe
