hahaha sorry man im on spring break - thought i put up an update but i guess not!
im pretty nervous bout my babies, ill be gone from em for a total of 8 ish days . i drilled holes in the bottoms of the pots and have them sittin in some compost tea so that itll keep em wet for awhile
plus the lights are now to the side and a little higher so they dont get burnt

actually found out that it wasnt calcium, i had plenty in my soil, but i put in a flower light on top of the two veggers, and it raised the temp and burned em - happened again when i did it later on

as for the topping, u'll have to put up a link for a comparison - how far are u?

pretty sure my setup will do though - i drilled holes in the bottoms of the pots (werent any before) and the pots are sitting in some compost tea/water. hadnt gotten a chance to try this before-hand, but im hopin itll do a soil - hydroponics type deal and leave the topsoil dry while giving the bottom roots water

i actually had a chance to go by today!!!! i was on a climbing trip in georgia and was gonna check on them on the way back but i left my key at the hometown (as in parents house not mine)

dead or alive though, im in for a big difference when i get back thats for sure!

oh and i just remembered i guess i have one teensy bit of an update i can do from out of town and without pics- so im a DUMBASS and fucked up the clone. somehow i guess i just never quite soaked in the definition of rooting 'hormone'

when i went to clone the plant in honey i thought i was supposed to leave it there like u do to root in water . apparently NOT the right thing to do, so it slowly got killed. i put it in soil when i realized my mistake and it actually shot out an inch long root in the last day or so of its life but looked so shitty i pulled her- dont have much room anyways

so yea thats not the most pleasant update but im tryin to find somethin to keep us interested till sunday - shoulda had my girl at home check on em, fuckkkk

If it had a root it would have most likely made it. Its good to do trials though..

eh fuck it, she just wasnt lookin happy- probly woulda left it to find out though, cus im an optimist, but im on spring break u no so there wasnt any way it woulda lived
as a substitute thought im tryin to get my roommate to make a grow cab so we can stagger grows n then ill just get some started in his ahead of time (which i was thinkin bout puttin the clone in there)

also lookin to do some outdoor this year, but thats a ways away

Yea I cant wait to get my own place in the country so I can do some out door stuff. Grow some monsters!!!

so for awhile this threads been a little but sorry spring break calls

anywho, here is the much needed update of the month, with plenty of ups and downs- i could write a book
....but it would probly suck cus i dont have enough weed to make it through
both plants are pretty overwatered cus of the trip- i drilled holes in the pots and set them in compost tea- kept the soil a bit too wet, but it was either that or let them dry out n die
the pics tell all, first two are the G13 fem White Widow, that i fimmed just two weeks ago (forgot to even mention it, thought i had)
she now has a little bit of water stress but not much

The next two pics are Mary James, the bagseed who i have been giving chinese water torture treatment throughout the grow; im havin bad timing with waterings and trips away
nevertheless, she(knock on wood) is growin strong, considering. cus i had to leave the lights in one place the past 9 days and theyre cfl's, the four colas are uneven but im fixin that with more crafty stoner light movements

so yea theyr a little shotty right now but not bad considering the conditions- im gonna pamper them for the next three to four days and then its flower time!!!!!

Hey they made it, thats great man. Should be back to normal in no time!

it was a scare i no man!
not even kidding, i had two dreams over the break in which i saw Mary James all spindly and purple stemmed, same or barely worse than she actually was at the time- dont think i saw the white widow, haha or if it did it wasnt bad so didnt leave an impression
haha i probly smoke too much weed

K so since i got back the plants both went in two directions
A) theyre still growin nice and bushy healthy growth
B)as the soil was still wet when i got back and the ladies (godwilling) had plenty to drink, the water damaged has continued slightly - actually more than slightly on the fem white widow, i trimmed off two or three fan leaves that had died

enjoy, its all up from here, flowering coming soon i believe

fo sho, i need to fuckin kick em into flower but i just havent been able to set aside the time to fix lightholes, new girlfriends too damn distracting- hopefully she wont get jealous of the other ladies (fingers crossed on Mary James) in my life
gonna have to be some damn good weed to fuck me better than her though, but ill try n get it out of em (all three )

lightproofin to go to flower right now!! got 3 23watt cfls, 1 26watt cfl, all 2700k, and i'm gonna throw in my 43watt blue spec cfl on the sides sometime soon
all i need is a small desk fan to go across the lights........

the other plant, dubbed Mary James, had shotty pics n then i ran out of memory so i said fuck it - burnt it AGAIN this weekend though cus i was out of town again, i gotta stop doin this

im planning on putting a fan hanging by the lights to cool the canopy, as the intake spits air in all directions not a line so it doesnt cool them much, just the overall temp, ya dig?

holy SHIT its been awhile since i updated, and a LOT has happened
sorry, been busy lately, traveling and doin school- heres my girls, (the bagseed was a female luckily ) plus a clone i took off the white widow

as i said earlier the bagseed has gotten pretty burnt- welll, now it got worse
she just isnt resistant to heat, and whereas the white widow is doin fine in my cab, Mary James just gets more n more burnt all te time. somehow though, shes got bigger buds than the white widow, which kinda upsets me since ive basically given up on her surviving the whole grow
to further things, we're getting wood floors put in this weekend, much to my dismay - fuckin landlord wont wait till we move out, shes making us do it now

so i dont really no wat im gonna do, but the plants have gotta go outside into the springtime for a few days - anyone know how detrimental that will be exactly? anyone actually reading this?
fuck it, heres pictures of my trainwreck of a grow getting all te possible fuckups and bad timings out of the way so i can do a legit one soon
