I`m glad its sorted buddy. After a year of breaking up he should be chill or at least work towards it.

Now everybody is saying "Chicks come and go but friends stay so you should be with your friend". This is a double sided argument. After all he is the one starting the conflict and if it were to happen, he would be the one choosing to lose his friend over a girl, not high|hgih.

I can understand its not easy, it wouldn`t be easy for everyone but a year is a long enough time to clear the page in my opinion.

But you need to have a good talk with your girl and make this as easy and comfortable as possible for everyone. They can sure get on with each other it was just a relationship.

Don`t distance yourself from your friend as he must be having a hard time with those opiates too. Be supportive and do your best to be his wingman
