If you've got roots coming out the bottom I'd recommend potting them up and then switching to flower after you know the transplant has been successful depending on how much room you have just because you always wana plan for them to double or more in size during flowercould you explain that formula please.....
the soil is wet ...they were fed 20 hrs ago and each pot had a litre.
Am trying a new watering system where upon the pots sit on a foam matting which remains wet. Then the girls are only fed from the top of pot once a week. Roots are escaping through the bottom of the pots
8 nitrogen (N), 3 phosphorus (P), and 3 potassium (K)could you explain that formula please.....

I was planning on potting up....the idea being that the roots spread across the matting taking what moisture they require. then only being fed nutes from above once a week......but Im guessing you dont think this a good plan...am Im now thinking that they will only grow to the size of the pot.........are they root bound in your opinion
No your good don't keep feeding it will take time for them to show improvement ...just focus on your new growth now and the leafs that are very light down low will not repair themselves as I'm sure you know ....so don't stress on those to much let the plant use them up and then they will fall off or come off with a very gentle tug later ......just watch your new growth like I said and up your feeding a bit from what you've been doing ........I forgot what soil your in but remember usually a good soil will buffer itself as far as ph goes.....depending on your soil mix this may not be the case for you .......but I'd pot them up if you got roots showing out the bottom and also remember to let the soil dry up before you water again .......I personally will water and count the days /time it takes my plants to wilt a little before I water again ....then I water just before that ....a little wilt won't hurt nothing after you water you can literally watch the plant perk back up in 10 to 20 minutes ......or you can do the lift method where you lift the plant/pot when you know it's dry and then water it lift it again so you can feel the weight difference .......I personally make my plants ask for water/wilt so I'm certain I know I'm not overwatering good luckThank you Inda...Im glad to be able to rule out the cold...Being that I fed them 20 hrs ago would you suggest that leave them for a few days or give them fed now and make sure m y ph is a lot lower
If you are new to growing. Just leave that alone. Pk boosters can just mess with newbies. After a while, you will learn exactly when they need I and to be honest I stopped using specific pk boosters a little while ago.I have a product PK BOOSTER...but as of yet not used it....was in truth unsure when to use
Yeah I would get something else to put under the pot that could raise it up and let it breath under it for awhileYeah they drain really well. but the foam matting they sat upon is extremely wet
So this morning I checked my girls and all seem happier. The conditions feel so much better for them. Air flowing nicely air con unit seems to be working hard so I'm going to raise the temp on it. Temp in the room is reading 31c but it doesn't feel anything like it....Another massive mistake and curve is not to do this in July and August...I started to remove or roll the mats from the other room this morning. OMG>>>>how much water......I've now raised the temp in there to 37c..this will no doubt dry the room out .
