Here here! Trashy and pointless. And 3 hours or so getting your nails done, wtf? Blokes don't care two damns about nails, guess it's to impress other girls or something :/
Sounds like you got what you paid for really, goto a cheap dodgy barber and chances are he'll nick you with his scissors.

I hate those fake ass nails.....they look horrible ladies please stop doing it LOL. You take a knockout babe and put some of them long ass phoney acrylic shit on their fingers and I start to gag....seriously ladies every man I know hates the damn things why keep doing it?

i don't know any men who give a ratsass about nails. i do know a few who love polished toes. that always grosses me out though, they want to touch, even suck toes. i can't imagine kissing a toe sucker. gross.
i keep my nails neat and clean, sometimes i polish them but it's not a priority. i don't have time to worry about whether my nails are polished and it hink $20 a week for a manicure is a waste of money. i also don't like them touching me with tools that may be infected with bacteria or fungus. it's not worth the risk. ii hate fake nails but i like nice real nails, long or short looks good 2 me so long as they are neat.
actually i like short nails, it signifies that someone uses their hands. I am a creative person and i kind of frown on people with super-long nails, it's stupid...

OP for 15 bux you likely have done permanent damage to your nails and cuticles....and they look bad trust me....that is why I just can't understand it. Its almost like subconcious or something to some woman it becomes part of their routine along with hair color and style, waxing, tanning.....All designed to cover up the natural beauty of a woman.....And why? To look cookie cutter fake ass LOL. This man likes 'em real.

i get my nails done not for what other people think, but because its a way to express myself, and its kinda ingrained in me, my mom has been getting her nails done as long as I could remember, and where i live everyone gets their nails done at least every once in a while, and the smell of getting your nails done reminds me of when i was a little girl, sitting with my mom at the nail shop, waiting for when i was old enough to get my nails done. and its been about 1 1/2 years since i had my nails done, so i wanted to get them done

Nothing wrong with that unless of course she is getting a Faux French Manicure.....A Faux French Manicure involves the acrylic nail application and then the signature white tips and clear polish... A real French manicure is simply a manicure of the womans natural nails cut fairly short and then painted with the signature white tips and clear polish. Which is very chic and sexy.....the Faux variety looks very fake and very cheap.

If it is kinda ingrained then you are not are getting it done yourself but for your Mom correct? I'll wager that your mom HAS to have the acrylic nails applied because she has been doing it so long the polymers and hardening agents have eaten her real nails down to the quik and without the fake ones on her nails look like something out of a horror movie right. I've seen it lots of times before.
