Glass shattered on air cooled hood

The humidifier is right under carbon filter so it could of sucked up moister through filter into hood, and I would have to say hood is not air tight and maybe and the weatherstrip is a little flattened which could of caused some vibration. So I probably wont know which issue caused it to happen, could of been all of them combined..moisture vibration heat and cheap. Wonder if I call and bitch if they will give me a replacement glass?

The millions of little pieces means it was tempered / good glass?

Glass dosent like rapid temp change. But being humid shouldnt have done it.

Im betting it was due to glass on metal.
If it was tight an the glass swells an puts a little bit of pressure on the edge they are done.

The cabnet glass you got is prolly tempered an cannot be cut down or it will blow up.

if you get pyrex make sure they seam the edges so its not a razor lol.
