Gnat infestation...need help!!!

i have gnats in all my plants. is there anyway to get rid of them????

I put a bowl of vinegar mixed with dish soap next to the plants. Even though a few took the dive, most of them are still crawling around my soil and flying around my leaves...
and, a few days ago I noticed yellow dots on my plant...

Is this because of the gnats??

Please help

check the bottom of the leaves for spider mites looks as if you got them also.

it looks to me like mites are in there also. increase your airflow lower your temps, and think about some sort of bug control b4 it really gets outa hand

hotshot - no pest strips... WORK amazingly. Homedepot is where i got mine.

I went to home depot and got some hotshot.... seems to work... only time will tell

Might sound stupid but a coffe mug/tea cup whatever fill half way with apple cider vinegar mixed with a tablespoon of dish soap works like a charm against gnats. Set it next to plants.

So, I set out some apple cider vinegar mixed with dishwasher liquid a few days ago... and I'm very impatient, so i thought it wasn't really working. I also stopped watering my plants to dry out the soil. today i went and got some insect garden spray from Lowes... However, when I got back home, I noticed that the bottom of the dish with vinegar was filled with those little bastards....
What do you know, vinegar works... their not flying around anymore, and there were only a few left....
Who sounds stupid now? Yours truly
I didn't even get to use any of this fancy shit I just bought!

oh well, I'll just celebrate and roll a joint

I will be keeping an eye on it for the next few days

They definatley are not gone. They have eggs and im sure some are living in the soil and other places. Are you sure you got the 'hotshot - no pest strip'? or what all did you get? you wanna make sure its safe for your plants and shit... But i find the pest strip works for ANYTHING. Though i havent tested on spider mites... but i think it would work.

I have not used the hot shots I ordered them online.... they look pretty good by what I read about them.....

I haven't used it yet because the gnats are not swarming like they were.
In a few days I will really know the results of the apple cider vinegar, but right now this is what the vinegar-dish soap mix is doing

yes no pest strip pesticide builds up in your body like a slow acting nerve agent. The spider mites are better prevented than treated

Hey i have something in common appart from the dogs lol, i got little black flys all over in my grow room, so what you saying...i fill a cup up with vinigar and sit it in my room and the little fukers will commit suicide ?

Lol i got no problem with em to be honest, but they are starting to get out and arround my house...now that i got a problem with lol

When there numbers were lesser i used to adjust my lighter to the "flamethrower setting" & torch them, but i set the bottom growth of 1 of my plants ablaze, so stopped doing it... i now have a big spider in there somewhere, i think i have anyway, not seen it for a few days...maybe the flys ate it lol
