Growing Medium: DWC/Wick system Emily's Garden Mod with drippers

Strains: Just the Auto Himalaya blue diesels for now and a white widow i found in my draw and all my beans are feminized

Lights: 400w hps

Nutrients: House & Garden Aqua Flakes nd Soil with all additives.

Room Specifications:3x4x8

Ok My first grow didn't go as planned. But this time i'm doing it right. I got everything i need this time and have done a lot of research thanks RIU. This is an open thread any input would be appreciated but dont piss in my cheerios.

11/8/09 Day1
Soaked Auto Blue Diesel seeds cracked and went into rockwool in a jiffy humidity dome.

11/10/09
Both seeds popped thru the rookwool.

11/11/09
one of the blue diesel stretched too much so i put a straw around the stem.
Everything is looking good.

For this grow i will be using a 400w hps for vegging nd flowering. when do you think i should put the seedlings under it?
they are under CFLs right now.

i use a 600w hps,125cfl i would graduly put them closer ease them in gently,have u grown any,red deisle,violater kush by barnys farm and has any one grown red dragon

thanks i think i will put them under the hps 2nite but at like 18inches away n see how that goes n i havent grown any of those strains.

today i moved the seedling into the waterfarm nd put then under the 400w hps at about 20inches away.
i noticed the rooms temp was in the upper 80's do you think thats a problem?
i will be uplading pics later 2nite after i go back into the room.

so i went into my grow room nd didnt check if my cam had good batteries n guess what they were dead. so i took some pics with my shit 2mp cellphone cam.
after i charge my batteries i will be taking better pics.

so i went shopping and bought a couple of things:
- 75 gph submersible pump
- 1/2 gph inline drippers
- 2 "T" connectors
- 3 n 5 way control valve
- 8 aqua fizz air stones
- a big ass air pump
- black tubing

Im planning on putting the water pump in the res connect a line from that into the T connector nd run a line with a dripper at the end to each plant nd since they are inline dripper i well run a line from the drippers about half way down the hydrton in the net pot for future root growth.

If any1 has any better suggestions or sees any problems with my setup please let me know.

I set up the drip system took me about 45mins.
everything is working :bigjoint: i have the drippers on the covers of the rockwool cubes.
I also dropped the light to about 12inches from the tops of the plants and a fan blowing over the top of them also.
I took some pics of it last nite nd this morning here they are let me know what you think.

I need to buy a ph meter but dont know which one to get i know hanna is a good brand but the other ones come with cal. solution nd a gel cap for the electrode.
