Both happened in the same city yet he stayed quiet when one of the biggest shootings the city has seen in awhile had occured.

-When he sat down to talk trade with the steel industry his main focus was to try and talk about how we need more women in that industry INSTEAD of talking trade.

-He botched NAFTA

-His qualifications are that his dad was prime minister. He is literally only qualified to teach skiing and substitute teach drama.

A legal team advised that it would be better to settle out of court instead of losing a 20 mil lawsuit and paying double later, on top of millions in court costs. JT took the financially responsible way out of a Harper fuck up.
Same thing as when my former employer paid me to drop my human rights complaint and impending lawsuit over weed.
It was the right move and even you know that. But any excuse to hate JT....right?

Mulrooney botched Free Trade. He let Canada get raped. NAFTA was the same thing. We got raped. And this latest renegotiation of NAFTA was the same. It was a matter of how bad we were going to get raped and he minimized that spectacularly. A fantastic job. He gave up virtually nothing to get basically the same deal we had before. He managed that moron Trump excellently.

First of all don't assume what party I support, mainly because you're wrong. It has nothing to do with what party it is as I'd hold the same opinions regardless of what party held these same positions. It has everything to do with the fact that our PM clearly does not have Canadians interests first. Nor does he have any interest in anything besides identity politics. Doesn't matter who it is or what party. That kind of bullshit poisons politics and democracy. The liberals are olympic gold medaliats at fucking up our current government the list you provided is barely in the same ballpark. But thats what happens when an entire cabinet operates on flawed ideologies.

Harper is no longer in power or making decisions. And wtf have the liberals or any other parties done to reverse all of Harpers fuck ups? Veterans are being told they're asking too much while the very people they fight to keep this country safe from get a back room pay day no one voted on.
Now Trudeau wants to lower jailtime for returning terrorists to be lowered to 6 months in prison. Are you alright with that?

Im not conservative, swing and a miss. How was it unwinable? It never had a chance to go to trial. And it would have cost far less than 10.5 million. AND gone through a democratic process. Ya know instead of making personal decisions for an entire country. A terrorist is a terrorist. And dont feed me the whole " he was only 15". Unless you have an IQ below 80 you damn well know what can cause bodily harm. What we do know is he killed a soldier and blinded another. Sounds guilty to me.

I simply said conservatives are where I see that talking point, I did not say you were one. It was not winnable, and it would have cost as much as 3-4x as much according to legal experts (you can find at least half a dozen stories on this without much effort), as for going to trial he had already been through court and already had superior court ruling in his favor, the lawsuit was over the same issue meaning that on top of courts saying he was wronged, he had all the evidence that lead to that ruling.

The biggest mistake in the entire situation was that the Americans did not put a round through his head.

Harper's only job was mailroom clerk prior to politics, to believe that any individual is actually qualified to run a country of millions is insane, no one is actually qualified for that position which is why no one has ever done it right.

I i wasnt much of a PET fan or a JT fan.

But i will say that PET is the very reason that Canada has, or had, a fantastic international reputation. He is the reason why Canadians were welcome everywhere in the world. That is no longer true...

I will also say i dont want a "workin man" as my national leader. I want somebody who knows diplomacy, has international connections and relationships he can use, has sight of the big picture and who commands attention when he speaks (in international forums). "Workin men" generally lack all of that.

So who gives a fuck if JT never worked a day in his life or was born with a silver spoon. That is an advantage among the elite.... he has pedigree... and personal relationships with many of the world's elite, established long before he even thought of running for office. That will pay divs and already has.

Hopefully he will grow out of his rockstar persona and mature a bit in the near future... thatll help him a lot.

And just exactly how is Canada worse off since JT has been in office? Just because you say so? It appears to me that nothing has changed really except legalization...
