I do not believe that the creator(God) has any intentions(or the ability) of intervening in any way. Mankind certainly did not invent all, it merely inovated. Mankind is still wondering where the hell it came from. And quite frankly, so am I. Just wait here for a couple thousand years and I'll be back with a pic to prove it allIt still leaves me thinking that's there has to be some kinda machanic behind all this.
The idea that "everything must have a creator....".
So, who created the creator?
Or have we strayed into blasphemy?

Atheists are often accused, by the religious, of 'believing in nothing'.
I simply do not believe in the mythical and supernatural
and I think that the vast majority accept such beliefs because they have been put under family and peer pressure to do so.
Not many actually study the Bible.
They accept it. It perpetuates itself from generation to generation by the worst kinds of fear.
'Believe the same as us or lose our love, our friendship, our support as your family....'
I believe in SECULAR HUMANISM
The idea that we don't need some unproven being to make us decent people, to instil us with morality.
The idea that MANKIND can makes its own rules and behave with impeccable decency WITHOUT the promise of HELL hanging over our heads.
I BELIEVE IN PEOPLE
HENCE THE SENTENCE
WE ARE GOD.
IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU, DOER?
Because saying someone is NEEDY for LITERAL SCRIPTURE (when the person hadn't even mentioned scripture, literal or otherwise) was plain dumb.
But many or your heroes in the TEA PARTY seem to like it...?
They should educate themselves to history
then they may see that comparisons between themselves and the 18th Century patriots of the 13 Colonies is simply ridiculous.

I do have My speculations, assertions and conjecture about God, but not true certainty; I dont believe most of the Bible.

Its possible that God doesnt exist.
But the majority of people believe God exists.
As you know, Im Agnostic, but I sure do hope God exists; but God has never been emperically proven by science so Im skeptical about God.

It is not a matter of need. I think our need of a God has now changed to a want. People crave order, security and stability.
They think a God will give those. A God/King can.

Our brains prefer a stable environment though we often strive under the adverse, order proceeds advancement so as a society it's a some what inherited aspect of our collective nature and security is found in numbers. All of these qualities are and can be obtained without the want of a diety.
Control is what they're after and the time has come to realize that most today don't want to be controlled, not by a state, official or god for that matter.

You begin with the laws of nature then hit the road following man made road laws. You get to work and follow your bosses rules then back home again to follow the rules there.

Anarchy is the antonym and we certainly are no in that.
