true, but only because the man made religions have caused that mass delusion and have caused the general idea of god to be completely wrong, and most of all religion intially came from misinterpretations of alien visitation....and has turned into what it is today over the thousands upon thousands of years. people that buy into organized religion can't think of what we call god outside the human realm here on earth. My grandma is mormon so trust me I know how delusional people can be, I try to expand her mind a bit but everything she says is in human terms, she doesn't ponder the infinite ya know? the only way I can describe it simply is not thinking outside the box, some just literally cannot.

god was never the cause of war or repression of science ... science can not prove god doesn't exist .. it can only infer ... and god never cause a war .. man causes that by misinterpreting or feeling like they need to defened god and his honor or force what god is and isn't on people ... man is the problem with god .. not god is the problem with man

u are picking what u like and leaving out what u dont like.
if people did not think there was a god they might have found another reason to kill/war but they had god.
how many times did the pope send people to war? isnt he supposed to be gods voice on earth???
god is good if u need it. (society might have had a need for it back when there was no law enforcement and this was a way to keep people in check)
but when u have it telling people not to use birth control when there is a high % of people with aids like u do in Africa. religion and by extension GOD is setting humanity back and directly harming the world that we all live in.
science can prove that god does not exist ... (at least in the examples given christian/catholic faith is the focus)
the earth was not made in 7 days...
the earth is not 5million years old...
the earth is not the center of the universe...

Here is my take on god .. i was just seeing if anyone else had an opinion on it so its not meant to be an argument .. more of a discussion .. but i believe that in all religion you have to experience god .. well i think people over time have been experiencing god .. not taken directing from one religion or another .. not a being in the sky ... god ... if there is ... which i believe (because of certain experiences) exists. you could not even begin to imagine or grasp what god is .. if god could make everything it would be stupid to assume any less... which the whole process of how we absorb THC just proves something in its self (just my personal opinion)
