The approach that if you don't believe in jesus your going to hell is brash to say the least...
but lets look at it
If jesus was right ... If what he was telling us was the truth and he was the son of god. The messenger to end all messengers..
Then we should take heed ...
If he was lying he would have been a mad man ... but how could a mad man ever be so right?
the whole point of him coming here was to say... believe in me, god is real.

To address the christians hate gays issue.... not gods stance. Not jesus's stance for sure...
The reason god doesn't want people to be gay is because that isn't the way we were made... Males were made to have sex with females... that is the purpose of reproductive organs... its as simple as that...
god just says it is wrong because of that
For the same reason we shouldn't have sex outside of a marriage is that it wasn't meant to be like that.
God says that all sin is the same.... every sin has the same penalty as the other. the man who has sex while married is the same as the man having sex with another man ..is the same as stealing a candy bar. all are wrong in gods eyes.
Christianity doesn't speak on violence or forcing beliefs on others..
This is gods words (the bibles words) taken and executed incorrectly, but the defense of those people, it is hard to explain something to people who don't believe cause it is unlike anything you have felt(similar to drugs but with no come down=D).
Which leads me to :
Cannabis is NOT A DRUG. God is not against cannabis.
I know this for a fact (call me crazy if you will).
Christians try to share the word of god because that is what they are instructed to do. And people don't take to kindly to this because some execute this in annoying and interfering ways.
While Jesus did instruct his people to do this, and methods used by people are annoying, but can you see another way of doing it?
It is logical and understandable that god asks us to talk to people about god... you don't force it on them .. you can't force god on anyone. this is where People will take god , jesus, and the intentions way out of context.
The Holy wars were more about territory and money than about god ...
This is where catholicism and islam have gone wrong... just because a person does not see you cant make them see. Jesus said that we can not make the blind see or the deaf hear.
You should not shy away from questions and conversations like these. discuss your opinions talk about god... that is what he wants ... he wants you to figure out the game,
the puzzle. He wants you to try to understand him.. and he wants you to know him
I used to be a huge jesus kid... and i never had any issue with what jesus said.. i fell out of the church cause of people and poltics inside the church
But I realized the other day that god was infact real.. that god and jesus were and are not wrong.. but the church has been misguided over the years
God has built and amazing world here and an amazing way that if you come to this realization he will let you know ...
it is unlike any experience ever.. (you know and you know for certain when this happens)
The holy spirit is the correct name for it
God doesn't hate fun or humor but he doesn't like some things and since it is his place.... it is his rules.. it is that way just because it is
God tries to find everyone eventually... listen to these words, don't shun them.....
And actually read the new testament before you go and say that christianity is bad ... that god is a lie or awful ... he preaches nothing but good and truth ... everything about god is awesome and REAL!
Don't take my word for it ... just look for your self ... he will find you .. if you really just have an open mind to everything about god .... listen to the words, it makes sense... he says come to me as you are ... you just need to look for him .. he will find you some way or another. there is no hidden agenda. there is nothing bad about that book.
