Going away for 7 days. SEEDLINGS NEED WATER?

Should I leave the heat on, risking dehydration.. or turn the heat off, possibly freezing them?

Ill timed germination and last minute snow trip.

No auto watering equipment available..

Will cotton wicks around pots suffice for this long? Am I stressing over nothing, or will my seedlings rot/dry up and die?
Need your opinions and ideas. Temps sit around 20°c but can go as low as 16°c. Heating is drying these f#@kers out pretty quick so they might end up being cold for a week.. thoughts?

Make it cold. They’re a weed, they’re tough.

They’ll use less water.

My 2 day seedlings survived/germinated with 7c nights. Got some purple on them but they survived just fine. As I said, they’re a weed and will do anything, anything to survive. Just like you!

Water just before you go obviously and if possible have your lights come on a few hrs less..

What lighting schedule you on?

18&6 due to the 3x seedlings I've got with the non sprouted seeds. I might just do that.. just want these germinated seeds to sprout while I'm gone

You need to figure something out more than likely they will die in seven days, try a drip bag or bottle like shikatsura said, nuttyskunk is probably on to something too. Colder temps will make them use less water

Can make it 12/12 for while you’re gone.

As I said my seeds germinated with 7c nights and 20c days. Took 5 days but still germinated. They just need a warm part in their daily cycle.
