hey guys listen, im in the north of europe and i need to go visit my family in a couple weeks time for about a week. I dont tell anyone i know about my babies, so any suggestions how they could survive a about week without human care? I.E. Watering?

i have a timer for the lamp so thats cool, but i manually water the plants.

any suggestions?

Set light to 18 hours (if its not already) to minimize water evaporation through heat, raise light high enough so plants wont grow into it, transplant plants into a big pot if possible and soak them well. Then hope for the best

you can also use a wick system to water. Id tell you haw but I have to get to work. Just look it up its easy and works great.

you could also buy a very inexpensive gravity drip feed system and only use it while you are away. hang a 5 gallon bucket of water at about 4' from the ground and run 1/2 or 1/4 hose from it to drip feed your plants . set the ball valve to make your 5 gallons last a week and your babies will be fine.

lol could happen .... best to test it well before leaving. and thats why i also say only use it for this trip.
gravity drip feed systems will all eventually spring a leak
