Agreed with the 1st impression thing mentioned-if you get the success that you deserve remember scale will shift your key audience from "early adopters" to a more "mass market" type buyer (albeit within a niche market).
When you do grow your business do consider getting your packaging bespoke as it maybe cheaper than you think-it can be a simple design, your time costs money!
I hopefully do come across as patronising, I think you have done fantastically! I have some experience in buying packaging etc

I appreciate the kind comments and suggestions. As I progress I'm able to consider other aspects of the business in a way I couldn't prior to starting this thing. It's all new to me and there are so many facets to operating a business, and various "upgrade" paths to make decisions about. I do agree with everyone who's suggesting a more straight forward way to choose a lamp/s and am working on that. The PPFD chart won't be going anywhere but some more visual footprint information in the product pages will be helpful. I had toyed around with putting something like that on the main page, but 10 lamps, it's a lot of charts.

I have watched it. Multiple times. There are a lit more questions I needed answered and Rahz has been more than helpful to me. His knowledge is astronomical about this stuff. I feel like he really has a passion for this stuff because of how willing he is to share what he knows about this world. I can't thank him enough for how prompt he's been on his responses and how much he makes sense when he does explain it to me. Thanks again @Rahz

Can you believe how rude people are dude? Like, it doesn't affect his life in anyway, shape, or form. I'm so thankful to have found someone on here with the patience to help me out to get me as educated as I am now compared to a week ago. I know I've said it already, but I can't thank you enough, Rahz. If there's anything I can do to repay the help you've given me, just let me know.

It does dude because i have to wade through your fuckin questions to look for the answer to my questions. Unlike you i dont ask every fuckin question that pops into my head. Why not you ask? BECAUSE ITS ALREADY BEEN ASKED BEFORE! These guys on here will bend over backwards to help if you have a problem. Show them a little respect and do some BASIC research before asking a question they have answered numerous times already. Good luck on your project man, but damn.

I found some spring hooks I'm happy with so all the lamps will now ship with small chains that connect the opposing D rings. This means only 2 cords will be necessary to hang them, or, no need to DIY something with S hooks. Also I may have mentioned this earlier but they also ship with microfiber towels now for dusting the lenses/reflectors.

I've decided to switch to reflectors once the lenses I have are used up. I will save 2 screws per cob, which is also 2 drill/taps less per cob. It will increase the price of each lamp by 1-4 dollars (my cost) but it will be worth it. The box size will be reduced which means less shipping cost.

Those are all things I've been considering recently, small upgrades to make for a more polished product.

I've reduced the price of the Vero based V4-200 by $30, now priced at $420. I probably won't be building any more since they haven't been selling. Kinda makes sense seeing as how the price per par watt is similar to the 3590 driven at 2.1 amps but with less efficiency. I could produce them at 2.1 amps with three emitters which would reduce costs and increase par wattage, but there would be a further efficiency drop from the 45% I was happy with to %40. Still mulling this over since I have a stack of Vero 29s here, but bottom line is I don't want to build things that won't sell. T4-1750s I can't keep up with and I expect the T3-2100s to go quickly as well. A small suprise, I've had more than a few people ask me when T2-1400s would be available even when T2-1750s are in stock so I will be adding a few and then working more in on the next batch.

I've also updated the product pages by expanding the PPFD information and adding a recommended range of PPFD for veg and flower. After a lot of consideration this seems like the best way to go about it. I have hesitated to offer a "recommended" footprint because I would recommend different PPFDs based on a customers needs.

Recommended flowering intensity: 500 - 1200 PPFD
Recommended vegetative intensity: 300 - 700 PPFD

Any comments on these ranges are appreciated.

Can't decide between t3-1750 or the t2-1750. Tent is 36x20x63. T3 is where I'm leaning but could do a second t2 if not enough. Product looks awesome.

In your space the T2 will provide a little over 650 PPFD, which is not bad. The T3 would provide just about 1000 PPFD and could be put a little closer to get the proper spread in that space. 1000 is pretty intense though. I've never used over 800 personally but I know some people here have designed lamps working in the 11-1200 range.

Thanks rahz! Forgot to mention the 4 cob vero also fits and really like the price point so there's another option for me.

You could also consider the V4-200 It would be in between the two lamps you're looking at as far as light output. It's 200 watts output compared to 124 and 186 so less efficient, but a good price for the output. And, there is a T3-1400 that can be built. It doesn't have a product page yet because I haven't built one but it's listed in the chart on the main page and I do take requests for them. It would also be inbetween the T2-1750 and T3-1750 as far as output.
