Going from 1000 watt hps to cree 3590

So I have been lurking around for quite a while now finally decided to make my first post. So I was growing hydro under a 1000 watt hps. Due to unforseen curcumstances l had to tear down my room and get rid of all my gear. So my question is how many cree 3590 chips will l need to replace my light and what drivers do l need to run them. Also what spectrum would be the best. I'm only using this light for flowering.

10 of em at 75 watts would out perform the hps. Flower only 3000k... How big is your area?
Have you checked.. cobkits.com or timbergrowlights.com... both good sources..or horticulturelightinggroup.com

Get 90 cri if its for flower only.. 3000 or 2700k.. I replaced my 1000w with 16 vero29 and 4 hlg240-1750 drivers.. Its definitely more than i need, but my tent is an 8*8 and i shouldn't need to upgrade for awhile.. Make sure you get the b version of the drivers... You will need to dim when there babies..

Thanks for the replies. Is there much drop off between cree and luminus? Cree seems to be sold out at cobbkits. Would like to order from a members site.

Haven't seen the grows yet, but the math is solid.. Talk with @CobKits he'll fix you up..

i have (4) cxb 3590 3500k 80 CRI DB and a handful of 4000k 70 CRI DB and thats all for now, in general i dont carry cree because the other chips i have do the same thing at half the price
