going from harvest... back to veg?

I got a plant ready to harvest in less than a week. It's indoors. I already cloned the strain before flowering but it is an amazing strain with some really good genetics. Wondering what i can do to revegitate it to be a mother plant after receiving a full harvest?

my current plan is as follows...
Change the lights to more than 12 hours
keep the branch cutting at a minimum, trying to maintain some of the strong branches
possibly even just pick some of the buds by hand to reduce destruction to the plant
keep as many fan leaves as possible to help its photosynthesis after harvest.

Any input is appreciated, thank you

Since you cloned it, it really isn’t worth the effort. With that said, I’d cut the main stalk down to first and second lowest viable branches. Then I’d pull the plant from the pot, remove about 75 percent of the root ball, and transplant into new soil.

That might be worth the effort.

You have a clone that"s all you need. The genetics you seek are right there. The hassle to do what you suggest is not worth it!
