24/0 should be fine as long as you give em 24 hours of darkness before you but em outside....thats what I do at least except I use 18/6 and if you plan on changing the light schedule id do it asap just to be safe

I wouldn't necessarily change the light schedule. If I did it would be 18/6. What I would do however is climatize them b4 putting them out permanetly. Climatizing Plants: Moving them from indoor to outdoor. Put your plants out in the sun 3 hours a day for 3 days. After 3 hours in the sun, bring them back in and put them back under your lights for the rest of the day. Do this for three days.
After three days you can leave them out all day.

Thanks for the tips. It's still to chilly to do the outside thing yet but I'll look into it more when the time draws nearer

If you're on 24/0, I would gradually reduce it to 16/8, and hold it there for at least a few days before transplanting them outside. Last thing you want is for them to start flowering, then decide winter isn't coming and start to re-veg.

That's what I was thinking. I heard something about not wanting the reveg cuz it would set you back a couple weeks. So start the timer going down to 16/8 in the next 6 weeks.

"The following information is straight from Greg Green's "The Cannabis Grow Bible"

24/0 and 18/6 both share the same problem though. Once you start the photoperiod you should keep that way especially when the plants near maturity (the preflowering stage). An irregular photoperiod can cause more males than females to develop. It can also cause sexual dysfunction to appear. Whether you choose 24/0 or 18/6 as your vegetative photoperiod try to keep that photoperiod unitl your plants are mature enough to express their sex."
