My priority is discovering what kinds work best for me. Gotta grow more kinds to narrow it down. If I had it down to the ideal strain, I'd just grow that one and try to perfect things based on what works for that one. Just not there yet. Back in the day none of this shit had names or lab tests. You were just like 'smells good'

@curious2garden - this has not been my experience given the age of the plants the OP provided AND the fact that the plants are in veg. I would expect the plants to slow a bit, but not die given that the solution is not run-off and is diluted to 1/4-1/2 strength.
Sharing your experience of having plants die after sitting in run-off for a day is not really relevant because it is not a drain to waste situation, therefore, not an apples-to-apples comparison.
Maybe the plants would die if they're root bound and all roots are submerged in bins as I've outlined, but that is easily avoided by repotting before holiday.
I'm not arguing a simple dripper system on a timer is an obvious choice, but I though @raggyb was trying to keep it simple.
I feed at 1/4 nute strength from the GH DTW table for Flora 3 series. How will the fact that I poured it through the top before it ended in the tray make a difference? I'm curious how that works, thanks.
Anyway whatever he finally chooses to do he will live with the success or failure of his plants. I wish him well.

I set myself up for this challenge. I wasn't going to do a grow at all because of this trip but then I thought times a waistin and I'm not learning anything so I shoudn't wait, plus I have a bunch of seed crosses I made last time and some freebies and can only run so many at a time.
If they aren't high value seeds to you then you are really losing nothing. Let us know what you choose to do and how it works. I wish you well.

There are a number of things that can contribute to higher EC numbers in your run-off which can impact plant health. You've left out key details on your methods and setup when making such a bold statement. I immediately thought of excessive build up in the grow media resulting in severe lockout after reading your initial post. This is most likely not the case in your situation.
How long had the clones been rooted prior to them sitting in run-off and then dying a day later? Plant maturity definitely plays a hand in the suggestion I passed forward.
FWIW - I've personally never seen a cannabis plant die in 24hr period in a regulated environment.
I'm not making a bold statement. I am sharing my actual experience. It's fortunate you have never had that experience.
My clones were roughly 3 weeks out of the TurboKloner in Coco/Perlite dtw. Since I flush every 2 weeks, they had just been flushed and were growing vigorously.

Mostly chucks I crossed with Ethiopian. Kind of excited about it. x Liberty Haze, x White Widow, x Blueberry, x Wild Thai and x Maui Wowie.
I know my plants don't grow fast and I'm sticking to soil and heading the organic direction. Leaning towards the velvet rope and tub suggestions for super simplicity. Loving all the suggestions here.
