going snowboarding...

hey guys i got 5 plants under 4 fluro tubes and 3-43wattcfls theyve been growing for 3 weeks now and are doing reall well but im leaving to go snowboarding when theyll be 8 weeks old, im going for up to a week what do i do to keep them alive:S:S

Where are you heading boarding? I'm headed up to Banff the second weekend of december, and i am so excited!

I had to evacuate for over a week from the fires, and when I came back my plants looked better than ever. No water, total neglect. Just figures....
I wouldnt sweat it at all, just really water before you leave. Thats my experience anyway.

Left mine for a week once and one room was great, massive and healthy. The second room, the hose came off my ebb-flow and to top it off the damn plants grew into the lights and cooked their tops. Oh well, they bounced back with some tlc. Just be careful.

Also, I'm curious as to how good Rocketgirl's teeth are... I suspect somewhat horsey.

yea....Lacy...Chiceh....Asiankitty...theres lots....and they do GR8 gros too! now I just need to find one to be my friend....hmmmmm...hehehehe. BTW - boarding in Banff ranks tops...and boarding in Fernie prolly ranks higher...and cat-skiing tops it all! wooohoooo!

I love that place too...summer or winter! but unfortunately I do not live there - only vacationed there years back....and lots of good memories....that is unless you're inviting me? :hump: :mrgreen: hahahahaha. good luck with that move. I expect you'll enjoy it a lot. :blsmoke:

:hump:haha! We keep saying every year we're going to move, but this time we're serious dammit!!! Wakeboarding in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, what else could you possibly need? We are gonna go up next month, but try to plan it before or after winter break. We actually got married on the slopes at Heavenly, our minister was on skis, during a blizzard. It was awesome.

ok well ... i just went on vacation for 10 days... i have my 1-2 inch plants under 100 watt cfl.... i honestly didnt think they would survive but i watered them alot be4 i left and when i came back they werent to bad... other then the end of the leaves being brownish and growth kinda slowed alot... other then that they look like there comming back fine..... either get a self watering setup.... or just pour tons of water on them and hope they live :)
